Some of the sustainably harvested or reclaimed woods that are used are maple, Douglass Fir, teak and palm wood. When we talk about woods that are sustainably harvested it means that only one takes as many trees as the forest can reproduce while maintaining the diversity and integrity of the ecosystem. A well managed forest can produce plenty of wood while keeping the ecosystem healthy at the same time.

Using recycled or reclaimed hardwoods has obvious benefits to the environment, but what most people do not know is that it is some of the highest quality wood available. By using these woods you get all the desirable qualities and benefits of old growth hardwood. This beautiful wood has a rich color, is smooth, dense, stable and tighter grained.
