ECO DESIGN RESOURCES OPENS NEW SHOWROOM IN SAN CARLOS, CA

"Green" Showroom Displays Environmentally Sound Construction Scenarios

San Carlos, California - September 5, 2003 - Eco Design Resources opened their new "green" showroom located on 633 Quarry Road in San Carlos today with a launch event that showcased the viability and quality of environmentally friendly construction products. The showroom, which allows architects, designers and home owners to physically experience the latest in environmentally responsible wares, is the first such display area in the San Francisco Bay Area. With the latest generation of environmentally conscious construction and design products now available, Eco Design Resources has succeeded in marrying aesthetics and environmental concerns into beautifully designed spaces. The "rooms" on display, including an office, living room and child's bedroom, were designed and built by Eco Design Resources partners Alicia Peche and Ryan Nestal. All materials used were chosen for their 'green' nature and their design appeal. Alicia, a professional designer since 1989 says, "As a designer, I can't sacrifice quality or aesthetics when creating a room for a client. At the same time, as a person deeply concerned about the planet and the health of the people who will be living in those rooms, I want to use products that are non-toxic both to the planet and people." Eco Design Resources' mission is to provide materials that don't compromise design or the environment and to make it easier for all designers, architects, contractors and homeowners to make wise buying decisions. While people can currently research and buy environmentally sound construction and design products, Eco Design Resources has done all of this work already and amalgamated these products into living design. The showroom and business stand as a one-stop shop for environmentally friendly business products.
